St. Hilda’s House is a housing project offering a stable home for people who have experienced prison. This is not a ‘halfway house’ but rather a place two tenants can call home.
The project is a three-way partnership between St. Hilda’s Church – acting as the host, Hope into Action (a registered Christian Charity) – acting as the management company and HMP YOI Bronzefield. It also has the support of the Spelthorne Borough Council.
The aim is to support two homeless women who have recently experienced prison to resettle back into the community; enabling them to put down roots, reconnect with family & friends and re-engage with society.
The property is owned by St. Hilda’s Church with Hope into Action operating as the ‘letting and management agency.
