At St Hilda’s Church, February will be STEWARDSHIP MONTH. There will be a number of items during and after services, information in the service sheet and literature available, focusing on building a generous church.
The ministry and mission of the Church of England (and by default, St Hilda’s Church) is largely funded through the incredible generosity of those who give to it. During Stewardship Month, we will talk about money but we will also talk about other things that people give; their time, their energy, their knowledge and their talents. All of these things make St Hilda’s the welcoming community it is. All of these things maintain the buildings entrusted to our care.
