St. Hilda's Bible Study Group
We are a small, friendly group which meets weekly to learn more about the Bible and what it says to us today. Our discussions are usually based on a study guide written for small groups, covering either a book of the Bible or a theme. Recent topics have included Hebrews, Judges, Prayer, and James.
There are currently about twelve members, not all of whom worship at St. Hilda's, and with a range of views, so discussions can be lively! There are usually 6 – 8 people at a meeting. We learn from each other, so everyone's contributions are welcome, but if someone is happier just listening we accept that.
We meet at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings in Church: see church notices for details. New members are always welcome. No knowledge is necessary – just bring a copy of the Bible (any version, or we can lend you one) and a desire to learn.
